Birds of prey
Has anyone tried reflective tape to deter hawks? It is commonly used in vineyards, and I have had luck with it in deterring deer from my garden. I have been thinking of trying it in an expanded area that is too big for a netting roof. I am new to this and haven't lost a chicken to a hawk...- HenryG

Hypnotized chickens
Cute story...I went out back to check on the chickens last weekend and found all 5 in a row staring straight ahead. They stayed like that for another 20 seconds, then came out of it one by one. I haven't been able to figure out how they got hypnotized, and I don't know how long they were...- HenryG
