    Dead or Alive?

So my baby RIR's moved a bit on day 19, but now it is day 22 and no pipping. I listened to what people said and pipped (carefully) a small hole in the eggs. All I can see is what looks like a bit of the chicks, but it is not moving or making sounds. Dead or alive?

    Dark Egg During Candling

I candled my 3 RIR eggs today (Day 8) and saw one that was basically completely dark except for the air sac/pocket on the large end of the egg. In the darkness, there is a moving black spot towards the large end of the egg. Is this the chick? Thanks!

I have adoptees lined up for them once/if they hatch. So this is the fourth day I've had them in the incubator, and I've been...
