A friend and I split a few Asian Black pullets from TsC to add to our respective flocks/other chicks.
Neither of us can find a lot online about sexing these since they aren’t a recognized breed.
We both live in a county where only hens are allowed so we want to make sure now that we do in fact...
I noticed this evening that I was missing one of my boys..he is my low man on the pecking order and a polish. All my boys are about 15 weeks old. We saw him last this morning hanging out with the flock...
They free range during the day, and I have a privacy fence and my dog has been out with...
They are about 5-7 weeks old... I think the orange one is a Roo, the tail feathers are fairly straight up too...

What sq foot per call duck am I looking for for the inside of their coop (NOT RUN) I found a great dog house I can make work, hubby feels like it’s big enough but I want to make sure im not crowding them. I have three calls and they sleep practically on top of one another.
Question 1)

We’re so excited about our newest family members (adopted a week ago) 3 ducklings, 2 Easter Eggers chicks, and 2 polish chicks.
We’re raising them solely as pets and the kids cannot get enough of them!
The coops will be built over the next 2-3 weeks as the Misters time allows. For now they are...
Our family just adopted 3 call ducklings (in addition to 4 chicks) and will be working on building their respective coops over the next 2-3 weeks.
Due to the possibility of moving this summer we are making the coops to be easy for us to transport until we finalize our plans. For the ducks, how...
