I have a 1year old leg horn who I thought was off the lay as she was moulting. I got a tiny egg from her about 2 months ago, and nothing since. Yesterday she sang her egg song while out free ranging. I checked around where she was, but found no egg.

I have a flock of 8 big girls, and currently have 4 x 5 week old Silkies.
Ideally I'd like them to be able to share a run with the big girls once they are big enough...but am unsure if this will work out to be the happy chook haven I'd like it to be.
Am I better off just keeping them...
