    Ducks shake their heads at night

    I have noticed my ducks (mallard rouen) shake their heads at night time after they have been put away. During the day I do not see this, and they are active, happy foraging ducks. I have checked them for lice and mites but I haven't seen anything, am I missing something?

    Duck eggs getting rotten ... two hatched but dead .... help

    My hen has been sitting on numerous eggs for more than a month, I keep checking them but some just get rotten. Two I have noticed were broken open but the duckling was dead. Her nest is in the pen and I am allowing her to do her own thing .... I have her covered so she stays out of the sun ...
