    Drake Biting Babies

Just wondering if I am on the right track here: My existing brood of ducks consisted of a male Indian Runner, a male Mallard, and a female Indian Runner. Mama had a clutch of 11 babies and all the ducks, males included, got along spectacularly. Then we introduced 2 more ducks, approximately 6...

    Dangerous? Hole between nostrils.

I have an Indian runner duck about 6 weeks old. I just noticed that she has a hole between her nostrils. There was a little bit of blood crusted over but nothing major. It does not seem to affect her eating or grooming habits, and it doesn't seem to bother her. Should I be worried? Will it heal up?

Anyone raise Indian Runner ducks that can answer a question for me. We hatched a duckling that is now 2 weeks old, but it has a puff ball on his head. I suspect that he may not be an Indian Runner after all. Pictures attached, but doesn't do the puff justice.

Brand new to ducks. Most pipped, but haven't zipped yet. Been 24 hours. Continue to be patient? Also, I have a few that haven't pipped at all? Can't tell if they have internally pipped either and don't want to create safety hole if unnecessary. Finally, jumped the gun on a chick who looked like...
