There are actually 3 broodies, but I have nowhere for my frizzle to sit where she won't get bullied by the bigger girls.
So right now I have a Cuckoo Maran and a Light Brahma sitting on "mutt" eggs, start date of May 2.
Opened the second vent plug as instructed and having a heck of a time getting the humidity up even with adding water to all wells, plus a margarine tub of water, damp washcloth and now a sponge too!!
*sigh*
What's my target, again? 60%? I'm barely holding on to 40% which wasn't hard to reach...
Tomorrow will be Day 18 for me, first time incubator.
Do I turn the eggs for the last time tonight, or at the end of the day tomorrow?
The LG instructions say to remove the second air vent plug. I also know it's time to up the humidity.

Was shocked to see *something* in every single egg!
Most of them had obvious veins, even the blue-green eggs and the dark maran egg were clearly not infertile, to my surprise.
In almost all of them I could see the small black "dot" which is the ... what? Eye? Most of them were moving, some not...
I thought when we got these before, they were all black ... but that's what these were labeled, I guess:
