My momma duck (Welsh Harlequin) is still attached to her 2 babies that were born in June. She spends time with the two and then goes back to her mate.
I'm not sure if I'm going to allow her to have any more babies, because I also would find it difficult to separate them. However, it's great...

My Guinea Fowl also go on the roof! My husband has seen them do this every evening, right before the sun sets. Seems that they want to make sure everything is 'secure'. And then they fly down and roost with the chickens.

I bought 3 lavender Guinea when they were a few days old and put them in the aviary when they feathered out. When they were about 2 months old, I let them out with the chickens... and they LOVE our hens! The Guineas "escort" the hens when I let them out to free range and...
