    When will they lay eggs again after Molting?

    Some of my hens have stopped laying because they are molting (from what I understand this is normal) but the ones who have their feathers back now are not laying yet & it has been over 2 1/2 months since they molted & still no eggs. Will they ever lay again, do you think?! I am hoping so...

    How Loud will a Silkie Roo Crow??!!

    One of my new silkies that I hatched at Easter has started to crow at 8 weeks! I think is is a cool non-bothersome crow & he does not (yet) crow early in the morning & it seems to be very infrequent (so far) But...will he become a nuisance with his crowing or does it stay rather mild like it...
