Incubator is fired up. Picking up 24 Black copper maran and Blue copper maran eggs tomorrow after work.. Its a early Christmas gift from the better half. I am so stoked. Lets see set them tomorrow night and they should be showing up around the 4th or 5th.... yeap cant wait

They have been eating and drinking like they have not had anything in weeks. This is the first Bantam chicks I have had. there so small they climbed inside the feeder to eat. 43 in all.. gona let then grow out and keep the ones I want and sell the rest... well thats the plan anyways.

picked these little girls and guys up tonight.. Araucana, White Wyandotte, Gold Sebright, Silver Sebright, Black Old English, Barred Plymouth Rock, Buff Brahma, White Japanese Bantam and Frizzles. Six chicks came from blue Araucana bantam eggs. There are 9 feather legged chicks

they where not due tell tomorrow but 6 of the 8 have decided to come today. one of the other 2 is working on it right now and the last one has pecked a small hole but nothing since then. pretty proud of my self. Im using a home made incubator. now that I know it works might be time to set 24...

thank you.. I am proud of it.. There is only 2 boards that I bought. The 2 12 foot 2x4s on the bottom. the rest is all scrap.

There is a longer ramp in there with small trim boards running across it for footing. that board was never meant to be in there.
