When my Australorp gets scared she runs into her coop, and if she gets scared into the nest she will sit in there for 2-3 hours. But she will get off the the nest if she gets scared.
Is she practicing brooding or is she just hiding in the nest.
I recently returned from a holiday in turkey, and i was staying at my uncles house and he has a cage full of chicken that lay only double yoked eggs. Does anyone know what breed of chicken it is?
My chickens seem to be laying everywhere... except my nest boxes, and they never lay in the morning.
How can i make them lay in the nest boxes and to lay in the morning
