I am working on getting some chickens but for now I am getting some from my friend that lives on my road. I have noticed that one egg might be rolling around in the carton because it is so small and others may have to be turned upside down to fit because it is so big. Can anyone explain this?

Lets say you have some hens and they are all a different breeds, would it matter what breed of rooster you would get? If so would it matter the breeds of hens to decide the breed of rooster to get?

Is there a way to properly correct a chicken if they do some thing wrong? One of my friends always makes a clucking noise at them when her roosters chase each other. Does this sound like good method? Also, is there a way to reward your chickens without giving them treats?

Ok, just say you have some bigger sized hens, a bigger rooster, and some small hens. Would it be wise to get a smaller sized rooster for the small hen?
