need some info...i noticed today one of our older and largest hen will be grazing around the backyard..they are free range..and all of a sudden she just falls to her side and head slowly lowers to the ground and she goes to sleep..15 sec later up she goes and continues to graze...i have had them...

yes she crowed and yes she is a hen in fact the rooster she was fighting with came from her..we hatched him from an egg...she lays an egg everyday..she has always been dominate but was just so crazy for her to attack him when he attacked me.....she did crow right after he did....she is an older...
