Hi I have three newish rescued chickens and I think they have words. I have flubenvet poultry wormer and it says 6g per 2kg feed over seven days. I don't know how much food they eat in a week, and is it 6g per bird or per flock? Thanks.

Thank you, I have left some egg out for her and acv. She keeps bending down to peck it, then she just lifts her head up and does the same thing again. I would say she ate three pecks of egg and now she is sleeping again. Should I syringenfeed her some yoghurt?!

Any tips for sour crop? Got a sick 2yr old ex-battery hen. Not eaten since Saturday, but still drinking. Emptied her last night and this morning double the amount came out :-/

An update: I spent most of the morning scrubbing and dousing the hen house with poultry spray, louse dust and DE, so I think the lice problem must be dealt with. I haven't found louse powder that I can put directly onto the chickens if anyone has any recommendations? I plan to dust bath them...

so...other than putting flea treatment on her, what else can I put on her to kill the live lice? I've ordered the ardap spray for the coop, but I want to kill the lice off her asap.
