That's why I thought if you can use your room (propped up with pillows) with a heater, it would warm up enough to not freeze.

Only have had a few EEs and no beak problems. Bigger trouble is they seem to be harder to sex. 20% accuracy on sexing for these. For me it's been closer to 50%. My feed store poultry guy says they get more cockerel returns for EEs than any other breed. That being said, they are still one of my...

I don't blame you in the least. :hugs You know my disinclination toward seeing a dr. Seems the heart dr should be communicating with your general dr (or your NP) and they go through the insurance co to get you what you need. You shouldn't have to be seen by anyone else for this.

He's a freaking cardiologist. If they won't accept his professional opinion, why would they listen to sleep study people? Are they even MDs?

Well, if that's the case, it's all pointless. :idunno

Why can't the cardiologist tell your insurance you need O2?

I know that. Got one like that too. Was just thinking about how CA is relentlessly pushing the EVs, but I wouldn't trust one in a Tahoe winter. Used to be you could fix your own car with a few basic tools. Not so anymore.

Wow. I never thought of that. Can't imagine anyone driving an electric car in those temps. Risk your life getting stuck with a drained battery. We got rate hike this month and another coming in March. Thank goodness we have mild weather. Have not used the furnace at all so far. Relying on the...

Very true. Hubs' ligament completely ruptured in his 40s, I think. He went to ortho, but repair would have been a big deal with limited chance of succuss. Hopefully Granny just has a minor tear, and can rehab it over time. Any news from the heart dr? How did ER doc diagnose possible torn knee...

Hubs has a torn ligament in his knee. Never had it fixed and he gets around fine. The muscles compensated.

Bless Nancy! I'm glad you're going. Regarding the ancient jar of blackberry preserves... Before you open the jar, press down on the center of the lid. If the "button" pops up and down it means the seal has been broken and I would not eat it. Likewise, if there's any sign the jelly has leaked...

Can you move your arm and knee? Even bruised ribs will be painful. It hurts to take a deep breath, but you can do it, yes?

How are you feeling? Any sharp broken bone type feeling or just the dull aching that always comes after a fall? Have you done a visual inspection? Look for bruising and even hematoma which might indicate a spot with greater damage. Can you move all your joints?

Hope you slept well. I finally did! Fell asleep at 6pm. Woke up at 11:30. Back asleep at 2am and now listening to unexpected rain. Woke up 5am by the dog who was woken up by both cats. Normally I would be annoyed by that, but I feel remarkably good. Amazing what a good sleep can do.

Yes, anything that causes your brain to slosh around in the skull can cause a concussion to various degrees.

You should be seen. If you damaged your shoulder, you will probably need PT to keep your range of motion. My gran had very limited use of her arm after a fall that she didn't tell us about. Cracked ribs hurt like heck. Broken ribs also hurt and can poke holes in things you don't want poked...

It's much more dangerous these days with the cartels horning in on the action. You never know if it's the real stuff or not.
