    Trying to determine the gender of this Black Australorp

    I have a Jersey Giant... I don't know if its the same as an Australorp, but they look exactly the same.. "she" is a couple weeks younger than yours but her tail is clearly longer and skinnier than my other 3 pullets, so I don't know what to think! Maybe it's just the way these chickens grow...

    That was my same concern... angel wing is when the wings start to grow too fast I think? The bottom part of the wing sticks out from the body... it doesn't hurt the duck, but it looks ugly. You can actually fix it if you catch it when it first starts to happen by taping them in the right...
