Hello all. It's busy..end of the school year time here. WE are down to 3 babies from the last hatch. Lost the second one Sunday. Not sure why. I have cleaned everything and put the remaining 3 of 5 on some corid and electrolytes. Crossing fingers In the hatcher. I now have 3 viable ones out...

31 eggs turned into 5 babies...and today... we lost one.. Yesterday it was just peeping all the time. Couldn't find a thing wrong with it...Then it was just off by itself and then gone. Stinks when that happens.

YAY!! Happy for all the new babies!! I think my three are going to be it for this batch. They were due Friday but haven't had a pip since the hatches on Thursday. I did get some more eggs to put in the brooder though. WE are chicken cray. Love the hatch!

I take them out when they are dry. Unless of course that means I am leaving a wet one all alone. I seem to think they need a friend in there. Is there a wrong answer? If my brooder is warm they can finish fluffing in there. Some say to not remove any until al are hatched. I tend to sneak mine...
