My big bag of chicken mash is just about done. My chickens are 20 weeks old and not laying yet. Can I move over to the laying pellets or should I just buy another bag of mash?
I mean what if they start laying in a couple of weeks. I'd have a 3 mo. supply of mash left.

So I have a 6 week old Black Australorp pullet and a 6 week old Red Cochin pullet that I got as chicks.
At what age do you think they will reach their adult height and weight?
As far as I know Australorps mature faster but as of now they are the same size.
