Agreed on aggression the trouble is that if your kids get attached to him it's hard to get rid of that roo!

If a rooster is bullying the hens a bit at 2 months will he get meaner or will he mellow out. He will peck at me sometimes but not hard and I can pick him up and hold him without a problem. Once I am holding him he is fine and doesn't try to peck. Thanks!

My boys named this chick Brickwall and now it is living up to the name. We can't have a rooster but I don't want to make a mistake and give away their favorite chick if there is any chance it's a hen. Pretty sure it's a rooster based on reading here but would love opinions from the experts
