She is only 2 years old. I do make sure to give her food and water I place in the box with her a few times a day and sit with her a few minutes each time to make sure she is eating and drinking ok and I do see her hour usually in the hottest part of the day for a few minutes in the pool

Can a Muscovy set too much/often?

Well, I was thinking/hoping a different hen would set them this time. I wasn't expecting her to do it again so soon. Yes, I am wanting them to hatch the eggs trying to get more ripples like my male. I have the babies sold when I figure out what ones, if any I'll keep due to color and markings...

Support Group for Abused Duck Keepers

Had a snake get in with the baby ducks (killed one baby) so my daughter tried to get them back (out of the shed) so she could get to the snake and keep the babies safe. Moma said NO!

    Muscovy color/pattern?

Yes they are the same bird! He did not have any blue on him at all when i got him. That was his actual color when i bought him. I have never had one change that much. He is my only ripple one and that was why i got him. I am in central US.

He did not have the blue on him til recently. When I got him he was the brown ripple look. I'll attach a picture of what he...

Anyone have an idea what's wrong with my Brahma's eyes?

Can anyone help identify or give suggestions on what's going on with my hen's eyes? She was fine a few hours ago and went out a few minutes ago and noticed she is walking around with both eyes closed. They are the only two birds in the pen. Wonder if she's being picked on by him due to being the...

Before I had to sell all mine I had 200+ ducks, a few hundred chicks, over 1000 quail, and tons of others like turkeys, pheasant, chukars, guinea and geese. Then had rabbits, pigs, goats, horses, and donkeys... now all I hear is the neighbor dog haha don't sound as good lol
