    I have no eggs as of yet still got a while to go.... But I have been using plain yogurt for a treat about every other day, this should help with calcium.

    Wow, sounds like you'll have your hands full for abit...GOOD LUCK Yes, they all are pretty unique in colouring... I actually think that the one is a frizzle breed, just because the way the feathers almost seem to be growing the oppisite way, SO funny watching them. Great cheap entertainment!

    My Bantam Cochens

    Picked up 7 bantam cochins,near London Ontario. They are 4-5 wks at this point. Not sure at this point male or female, I only want female. Have not named any yet. Now this is at 5-6 wks, still don't know genders. Any guess's??? Chickies enjoying they're new coop.

    Great info thanks a lot. I just ordered a book off amazon.ca called"Chickens In Your Backyard: A Beginner's Guide" all the reviews were mostly 5 star and alot of 4's also. Any good recommendations on any others??? Figure I'll start with 2 good books to get started.
