My hens have started to lay for 2 weeks now and I want fertle eggs for I can hatch them but the eggs are not fertle. My rooster has been getten on my hens because i have watched him do it. How long does it take to get them fertle ?

How can u tell if a egg is fertle or not ? I have one egg and it hasa red/brown dot on the yolk does it mean its fertle ? they just started laying friday. Thhhaaannnnnkkk yyyooouuu

I want to let my gamecock chickens free range but I am to scared they will run away or something. I cant put a fence in the yard. Is there anyway I can keep them in my yard and keep them alive ? I had them for 2 weeks now.
