it was a weasel

our chicken mesh is 3"x4" around sides and chicken wire across top.

today we lost 13 chickens to what i think was a weasel. all there necks were wrung and 3 were headless. do you think thats what it is?

we recently added some Buffs to our Isa clan, the first morning after one of the buffs laid an egg and instantly pecked it open and started eating it. The other Isas got after it. Not sure how to handle it or what to do. Don't want the other's to start doing that

I feed our chickens tomatoes, but not the green part, our chickens destroyed our tomato plants this yr. I read not to give them green tomatoes though.

Was wondering if 2 roos can be together with 1 hen. 1 roo is a japanese bantam and the other is a Mille Fleur D' uccle, so is the hen :rolleyes:

well good news, hubby found the MIA hen, she flipped a box over on top of herself and hubby seen the box moving and went to investigate and their she was starring at him, lol. Glad we found her.

I tried the foil and it worked, we wrapped theyre foil around the plastic lid, thx for the tips once again :D
