I'm so sorry to hear that someone would be so childish... however...
I have been in the chat when there were shenanigans going on and I didn't appreciate it at all.
Nifty, I feel for ya', trying to keep things under control. I'm looking forward to your solution.
Sorry Bubba,
This Utah compay is only a year old... hardly old enough to even consider an IPO.
There is a way you can "cash in" on it if you're interested.
Be sure to read all the juicy details at the 123Go4Success.com site.
Thanks y'all.
Yes, I'm an associate of this incredible 1-year-old Utah company that is taking on Amazon.
We're gonna kick their butt!
Here is the business opportunity site... we're working in teams. I've written (and or edited) most of this copy.

Howdy from the cold, snowy SW Utah desert, where even the chickens demanded breakfast in bed this morning.
I just got word from Santa that he's loving my new bookstore and will be doing his shopping there... you want the same great deal I'm giving him?
You get up to 42% discount on NEW books...
I'm on the "leading edge of boom" having been born in 1946. That makes me 61 now.
I remember when someone in the neighborhood got the measles, we were hustled over to get exposed before school started. Same thing with ALL the other childhood diseases.
We played in the dirt for days on end...
Thanks from a USMC 1st Lt (Viet Nam era) vet.
What a weekend! Saturday was the USMC 232nd Birthday, and then the Navy Chaplain Corp and Veterans' Day yesterday.
My thoughts and prayers are constantly with our very brave men and women who defend our country against those who choose to destroy...
When we built our coop, we made the walls a full 8 foot high. By the time you get to the roof peak, that's nearly 9 foot.
We have a light with the a reflector on it that hangs from the center of the roof peak. Right now, we're using a 40 watt bulb but will soon switch to a heat lamp.
Our...
Howdy y'all,
My roommates are from Put-In-Bay, Ohio. They relocated here to Beryl, UT.
You'll love their story... Four Country Gals.
We have chickens, sheep, and horses in addition to the five dogs for the four of us.
We have a couple of ceramic eggs that the hens move from nest to nest. Sometimes they lay on top of the fakes, and sometimes they roll the fakes to another box. The other day, they rolled one clear out onto the floor.
For whatever reason, we also collect more eggs from our two end boxes than...
Our hen house is unheated, so we will be switching from a regular 40 watt bulb to a clear 250 infared lamp once the nighttime temps drop below freezing regularly.
Right now, darkness comes (everyone's in bed) by 7:30pm so I have the light set to turn on at 2AM and remain on until 9AM. That way...
Thanks Tuffoldhen,
I haven't gotten around to blogging about Cindy's latest experience with Dusty... been letting her grab the well-deserved glory.
Check out what I'm talking about at her blog.
I did get The Four Country Gals updated today, and will soon get Shari's Gone Country updated again.
"Oh give me a home..." tells the story of how Four Country Gals have fallen into the horse business.
You'll find the article published on pg 21 of Small Town Living, an online magazine published just six times a year.
One of my Plymouth Barred Rock pullets laid an egg in the nest box today (first one in the right place). She made absolutely no noise as I was standing in the coop.
I'm studying what they'll choose as their favorite next box lining.
I thought sheep's wool (merino/suffolk cross) would be...
Thanks! Don't know how I missed your post here... been working on a new book. It tells our story about how four women "boomer+" age have chosen to homestead in SW Utah.
We get into all kinds of crazy things, from raising horses, to sheep, to chickens, to a garden, etc.
You'll have to check it...
There's a woman about 2 miles from us, known as "the egg lady" who sells her eggs for either $1.50 or $1.25 when you supply the carton.
We don't intend to enter her market. She sells all she can produce, and there are still folks who can't buy eggs from her for one reason or another...
I'm going to encourage her to sell them for $2.50 for the first dozen. You return the carton, and it get's refilled for $2.00 a dozen.
That should help solve the carton issue.
We have a number of neighbors who will get free eggs in return for work they've done... probably a dozen or two a...
It's been Mom's dream to have chickens all her grown life. So it was a "no-brainer" that we'd have chickens here on our little farm.
Well, Mom's chickens are growing up... fast!
Born April 23, she got her first egg today. It was laid on the well-padded floor in front of the waterers and near...
Success! This afternoon we were blessed with our first egg. It wasn't in the nest, but very carefully laid on the floor between the waterer's and feeders.
Not sure which of our gals did the deed, but that's ok, we have a couple dozen who will soon all get into the act.
Tomorrow, we're going...
Updates again... the gals are on the road now... see what they're up to at Four Country Gals.
I'm still working on photo software, trying to get the gallery and wordpress to play nice.
September update!
I've been moving along quite steadily, but now I'm getting into the more "active participant" area. That means I really need your help.
I'm currently in spot #32 and just on vote from tying #31.
To move to #30 I'm 49 votes shy. The person in #30 is moving along at about 10...
