so, the coop has been done for about 2 weeks now... prior to actually finishing the coop- the chickens stayed in the run all day, then hopped up to settle in on an outdoor roost bar in the run- and I brought snoozy chickens in to sleep in our bathroom. (good times, that's a whole other story!)...
