Young hen with swollen eye, lathargic and beathing heavily

Hi All, Thanks for your replies and comments. I'm sad to say that our hen passed although I fear it may have been because of the injections (or how they were administored) and I'd like some feedback to see if I can piece together what happened. We are shocked and saddened for sure. She was...

Young hen with swollen eye, lathargic and beathing heavily

Thanks for the reply. She doesn't have any bubbles around her eye, no oozing or any other kind of seepage. There is no smell. I'll check her mouth... We're planning to pick up some Tylan 50 today and hopefully that will help.

    Hen with gash on neck

I discovered a gash in the neck of one of my Hens this afternoon. So far I've trimmed the feathers around the wound rinsed off with warm water and put some Bactine on it. Any other suggestions? She seems very lethargic at the moment. I'm not sure whether this is normal posttraumatic behavior or...

Need help! Two hens, both have bloody heads/combs ...what happened??
