I have a rode island red rooster and some mixed breed white hens. Also not sure if the roo is pure.If I hatched eggs, would I get sex link chicks? Or would I need pure breed parents?

Thanks alot, i was afraid of that. i can't have roosters and will have to give him back now that he is in good shape. Is it a rock or dominique? I am new to chickens and can't tell the difference between those two. Also does the white one resemble any single breed?

So my heart got the best of me and i rescued these bullied chicks from a friends coop. I think one is a barred rock and not sure of the white one. Is the rock a roo? I think the white one is a mixed breed pullet, any help would be greatly appreciated. sorry about the poor quality pics
