Hello, my name is Pat
I am from the great state of NH (or as my husband says "the only state". We have just started our chicken farm. We have 2 roosters (I think their Silkies, but I'm not sure). We have 8 hens, and 3 chicks (don't know what kind they are, except mixtures). We also have 12...
I forgot to mention that we also cut maple and apple branches for them to chew on. It helps keep their teeth in check and they love it. The branchs are at most 3" diameter. They will even eat any leaves that are left on the branch. They love to peal off the bark. Plus it tastes good to them.
We raise rabbits also, New Zealand, Californians and Giant Flemish crosses for meat. Lion Heads for pets. They should be at least 6 months old before breeding. Let them get used to their new homes for a few weeks anyway. Always bring the doe to the buck. Always always (the buck would be...

Sharon

It worked in...
The model 2362N is the one we have. With the turner. So far I love it, but its still new. Time will tell. Temp stays good and so does humidity. We have just started hatching. 2 1/2 out so far. Hopefully more soon.
thank you all for your encouragement. AS soon as the chicks are out I'll post pics. That is if I figure out how to do it, but if a chick can make it out of a shell I think I can post pics. This is more exciting than I thought. O.K. I admit it, I'm hooked. We have more due to hatch next...
