Thank you! I put out some oyster shell and today I found a pretty white egg in the nest box with a perfectly hard shell. It had to have come from my white leghorn, Pot Pie. Third time must have been the charm. I'm so proud of my girls!

LOL! My Noodle laid her first egg and then didn't lay her second for a whole week. Now I've gotten 4 eggs in the last 2 days, some of them with no shell. I think someone else is laying too but I have no idea who! Twice-whoever it is-has laid them up on the roost. I've got a mystery on my hands.

I'm feeling the same way!!! My rooster just started to mate with my 19 week old EE so I'm guessing that means she must be mature enough to start laying soon! She's been squatting some too and letting us pet her. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!
