They are harder to come by. Murray McMurray sells the Bielefelder chicks. When they are available they cost $7.75 for the girls and $4.50 for the males. Turns out that Ginger is a Bielefelder. Murray McMurray Hatchery looked at the close up pictures of Ginger that I sent them and said that she is a Bielefelder. I sent pictures of her to Murray McMurray Hatchery customer service. This is where this chick came from. They informed me that Ginger is a Bielefelder and since these chicks are autosexed it is easy to determine the sex. She had the eyeliner which denotes that she is a pullet for sure.
