    I think it was the combination of a feral dog and a windy day. At first I thought I'd lost one and then he crowed and I saw him up there and couldn't imagine how I'd get him down. He did eventually come down that day on his own luckily.

    Thanks for your thought, I'm still gonna wait it out in hopes. They all had the classic black dot on the head and came out of grey parents and like I said they started out with a lot more black as chicks. Guess we'll see!
