    Lucky is Crowing!

    will it help to keep him inside till later? maybe not make the neighbors so mad( not that it matters so much actually all their darn dogs bark why cant my roo crow?) I put the screen back onthe window so that can not let themsleves out so early. Dawn

    so are you giving me hope that he will not become a problem? He is barely louder than some of the native birds in the mornings. I really like him and his 3 females wil miss him if I have to get him a new home or worse yet, a stew pot. Dawn

    dominant hen or rooster?

    My Rhode Island Red is a roo, he is crowing kinda fuuny, its not really a crow, but he is persistant, will his voice"change" as he gets older and better at it? My neighbors will not tolerate him even if DH would. I have good home at a community farm, but I would like to keep him.

    Cedar will Kill?

    Hi, I have not posted but have enjoyed and learned a bunch about my new "kids". I read on another post that cedar shavings will kill my chickens? Mine have had cedar shavings on the floor of their coop since they moved in a month ago. They seem to be doing great. What gives? Thanks. Dawn
