Call the DNR and get a nuisance permit. Then you can trap it or hire someone. Fox do not hibernate. It will be back. If I was closer I would trap it for you. I do know a guy in Crystal Lake that does nuisance trapping with a fee.
We are in Baileyville just south of Freeport. My son raises Orpingtons and buys other breeds to show at fairs. He then sells the ones he doesn't want to keep. Any breed you looking for? Kevin
I noticed that the wing feathers hang away from the body of a couple of your chicks. We have a couple RIR chicks also doing that. Is that common for some chicks to do that? Our Orpington and Leghorn chicks didn't do that. Thanks, Kevin
I found out the pullets we have could have a lavender gene in them. So I think we start over with some different breeders. Thanks for everyone's help on this.
I started another thread and some people are thinking I have a lavender gene in both parents somehow. I don't believe there is any chocolate in our birds. But you never know on Valentines Day. LOL.
We bought him as a chick about 5 years ago from a breeder, now we're wondering about this " breeder". We're thinking he has some odd genes in him. Trial and error. Thanks for everyone's input. More pictures tonight
