I'm in the process of building an automated insulated water dispenser. Using an old hot water heater gravity feeding to a 5 gal bucket with a tolet float valve at the bottom. Chicken drink from 4 half moon slots cut in the side of bucket 6 inches from top. Hope this gives you some ideas..

Thanks for your note. Would it be effective to do the run wire in a 1x 2 inch black vinyl wire with the 1/2 hardware cloth around the bottom 12 inches of the run for rodents? Also I would do hardware cloth in ground around coop and run. Trying to make it as safe as possible. Thanks for insights.

Scott, thanks for the note. I spoke with Mark, owner of this company today (really helpful). I would be using his product except I live in an area where we get high winds. His door opens out. I think I need to find a guillotine style. Thanks and I know that the door you have will be a good one.
