    This is my 7 months old RIR hen or rooster. I have 4 RIR chickens and I get three eggs a day. This one makes very loud noises sometimes.

    when will i get eggs?

    This isn't a definate indicator but when their crowns start getting bigger and redder, then they are becoming mature and they will lay soon. (Soon as in maybe a couple months or less)

    On Thursday I got my first egg! I am so happy. They are 20 week old RIR hens. I got another one yesterday (Saturday). They are pretty small and they are the first eggs ever from these hens, do you think you can eat them? I am worrying because they have been sitting in my fridge.
