So I now know I have a while before I can tell earlobe color, what about plumage color? This is a photo of one of my 7 1/2 week roos. The view I usually get is chick butts as they hang out at one of the feeders.

On the white earlobe subject: at what age can you tell if they have white earlobes? I hatched out some eggs at the end of Feb and since reading this thread have been looking at chicken ears every time I go in the pen.
I guess mine are technically Superworms, they produce the big ones. They don't reproduce as fast as the regular mealworms but are really big. You have to keep them warm, they die if they get cold.
I bought Giant Mealworms and if you separate them into a small individual containers (with no food), they will pupate. I now have a colony of Giants that are producing and eating like crazy.
