Just got a duckling - Laying limp - Got too cold?

Now suspecting two weeks old. GF says the friend who gave it to her had it at least a week. I suspected drowning was possible, this is why I put in so little water. Ill see if I can find something else in the meantime (cant get one now).

Just got a duckling - Laying limp - Got too cold?

Yes, I have him in a 24 pack soda box with a towel and a bowl about 2 1/2" deep with about 1/2" of water. Just checked on him and he is now holding his head up right and is a little over the bowl of water. Not sure if has drank any though; bill still looked dry.

Cant imagine he would be older than the time limit you mention. Wings are about 1" and body about 5"; give or take. Not sure if that helps, trying my best here.

Looks to be only chickens. However, there are others. One small drop on her hands, then wet hands, then touched ducking. He was rinsed really well and was never brought near the head. Im in doubt that any treatment has ever been made; we dont even know what Niacin is. Duckling has only been...
