Hi there Tulsa Cluckers! I got a batch of silver laced wyandottes and gold laced wyandottes from Cackle Hatchery on February 21st- so they are two weeks old. Needing to sell the last 4 I am not keeping. So I have two gold and two silver. Asking $5 a piece. Is anyone interested in these babies?- lvincent

According to the ordinances, yes- free range would technically be illegal. However, I have found that as long as your neighbors are comfortable with them- I haven't met anyone that is bothered by it yet- then you won't have any issues. Our birds are free ranged all day long. They come down early...- lvincent

Thanks Cathie! We had a lot of fun building the coop and enjoy it being part of our backyard. We are midtowners as well! We live just off of Brookside- there are actually several other houses in our neighborhoods that have chickens, so I think it's less rebellious now ;) Anyway, we do feed them...- lvincent

Hey Tulsa friends! Our girls are 18 weeks as of yesterday! We have 4 hens- 2 buff orpingtons and 2 barred rocks. They are named after the Golden Girls: Sophia, Rose, Blanche and Dorothy.
