    The mother quail accepted another four babies which I hatched in my incubator at the same time. There is only one day difference in the chicks' age. She is a good, protective mum :-)

    It is very rare, but it does happen!!! One of my Coturnix hens decided to sit on eggs, and managed to hatch one chick.
