Our fence is already about ten feet high and those hens are up and over it like nothing. It's only the two who do it though.

To clip or not to clip?

They stay in all day it's only when it's getting closer to evening time that they go out. I have wild turkeys out here and I don't wanna lose them. Should I clip...

Oh I hope these girls don't take that long! They seem to be adjusting well. But these are my first turkeys so its nice to hear some reassurance. I was hoping that the fact that I got the whole little flock of five that it might cut down on the amount of time it takes them to adjust.

Then I saw him flopping all around the coop and he landed and the cornor and just laid there. I went over to him to see if he was alive and he was. He still is its been...

Table top incubators safe for chicks?

I might be an over protective mama but I have to ask. Is it possible for the babies once hatched to burn their little heads on the heating coil thing?

    New to the turkey world

I live in Florida and recently bought 5 heritage turkeys. 4 hens 1 Tom. They're a breeding set who the people said all laid last season. They haven't given me any eggs yet. They've been here two weeks now and I have them in with some of my chickens that have to be in a big yard so I don't wind...
