    Dead Rhode Island Red

    Hey BYC I've got a problem. Yesterday a red of mine seemed very lathargic and she had light colored diarrhea. This morning when letting the chickens out, she was dead on the floor of the coop. What happend and what should I do with the rest of the flock? Please help, thanks.

    I live in AL and have my 6 chicks in a container in a tub. I have a regular light bulb over them, they've been here for a week now and i havent changed anything. Is this bad? They seem happy and more open to me and each other. So what do chickens do when they are hot or cold?
