I just got this shot. Gretel with her teenagers. They always take a break from the woods to come get crumbles! Haha Gretel is looking rough with her molting! Gretel jr (maybe 'Willow'?) Been trying to get them all used to being held.

We live in south Alabama so it doesn't get too bad. We add extra shavings to the coop, block wind with thick tarps, and put a heat lamp in with the girls on very cold nights.

Aww they're so cute!! Do you hatch them out in an incubator? I bought mine mealworms and they like them a LOT. But lately they seem skittish. Except for two, gretel jr and pepper, they like to have their chests rubbed. Wonder what else I need to do. Take them out and play with them? Hmmm
