    I went to pick up my Golden Comets today. Everything was going fine until I got home and realized they were missing the tips of their beaks. I did some research and they should be fine but I just feel so bad. I thought I was getting them from a reputable breeder!

    I plan on making an A-frame coop from an old swing set. The top half will be the nesting area/shelter and the bottom half will be the run. I plan on putting pine shavings in the shelter and sand in the run, however, I'm not sure if anything should go under that. Can I leave bare dirt? Or should...

    Hello, everyone! My name is Leslie and I'm 20 years old. My city recently gave me permission to raise backyard chickens, so I thought what better place to learn than here? I will be welcoming home two Golden Comet laying hens in about a month and just can't wait to get started.
