    I have heard a good way to keep chickens from pooping in the nesting box was not to introduce them to it too early. My little ones are 10 to 11 weeks old. We have the nesting boxes closed off. When should we open them?

    My chicks are almost 7 wks old. I will be buying growers feed and adding that to the medicated feed till its gone. But I was wondering if I can give them any of the treats from the treat list yet? Or should I hold off until they are older?
