They've been out in the garden all day, and they follow her everywhere! Ohh they're so cute
My broody hen, who I hatched last August, has just hatched 2 of her 4 eggs
One exploded and another chick pipped but then died suddenly inside the egg
However, I do have another 9 in my incubator who are due to hatch Thursday, 19th of June.

Nannie, start feeding your birds some small scraps, like baked beans. This is a tip I learnt from my Grandmother. Hold the chicken and find its pelvic bones (where the legs start) If she is in or close to laying then there will be a gap of about three fingers.
