    Hi. I have a RIR that sustained a significant wound from a fox attack. Anyone have any recommendations for antibiotics? I have been using a topical but would like to give a systemic treatment. Dosage, type and route of delivery would be helpful

    My RIR was attacked by a fox. The attack was foiled by my standard poodle. However the hen has a 1 inch gapping laceration and a penetrating wound in her back. She has been isolated from the rest of my flock. Amy suggestions? Is this survivable? I am an MD so the wound has been cleaned but...
