Well they have a really nice area inside their cage and i leave them out about 8:30 every day and leave the door open and they still just randomly lay them. And the other day they laid one in there pen but it wasn't in the nesting area i made. Im going to try and leave them in their cage and not...

I have two hens that are laying an egg a day and they just lay them in random spots because they are free range but go in their cage at night. Should i leave them in their cage all the time? Or leave them out all the time? Would that help!

I have had two chickens thats have been gone now for a few days now. They are free range, I think they are laying on eggs somewhere but i haven't seen them. I know nothing got them so i hope there just laying on eggs. How often do chickens come out to eat if they are nesting?
