She also has no breastfeeding feathers and a hard growth on her stomach. I was thinking maybe the people that had her before used her to collect feathers
I bought two ducks about a week ago and one is perfectly fine and the other one has little feathers and there hard and also like no feathers on them just the main feather shafts
I have 7 runner ducks and getting 9 more very soon and wanted to have a personal pet duck that can fly, the mallard im guessing would be the best flying duck. Can i have just one mallard with my 16 runner or should i have a few?

I have heard that before adele campbell made the khaki campbell duck she experimented with runner x mallard and runner x rouen. I was wondering if i did this will i get a duck similar to a campbell ( obviously i wont get a campbell) but just a good dual purpose duck?
First of all, does it change if one breed is the hen vs the rooster? Will one sex's traits dominate the others?
