6 chicks this morning out of the 10 shipped eggs. Pretty happy about that! Would love to see another one or two more but I don't see anymore pips. My experience tells me that is probably it. I always leave the remaining eggs until day 22 but have yet to see a late hatcher. Any opinions or input...
My black orpingtons went into lockdown last night. Started with 10 and locked down 10. All of the eggs are full and the saddle air cells look completely normal now. Here's hoping for all 10 to hatch!
I agree with you, the Ayams are really awesome. Don't know that much about them but I have noticed there is a pretty big difference in the prices I have found.

Just a quick little update. Candled last night all 10 black orpingtons are developing nicely for shipped eggs. I have 3 that have slightly saddled air cells, hopefully they will do okay.
