Thanks I thought of that. Would I have to put her in a pen away from the rest of the flock to set?

Question- I have a broody BCM. I take her off the nest many, many times a day. She insists she has a duty to set in that box. I do not have a rooster and no eggs in that nest. Should I build a broody box or go to TSC and get her some babies?? All advice is welcome!!

Question 1- Do I have to have my nest box off of the floor? I built mine on the floor with a slanted "roof" so they don't roost on top. Question 2- what does everyone put in the nest box. I have the TSC wood chips in four. Husband said I needed straw. So Two have straw. The hens keep kicking out...
